ISTD - Zine Layouts

Following are some of the layouts I have been working on for the zine. I want to keep the aesthetic minimal and simple as I am using a background image, so a complicated layout would be too much going on. I have decided to focus on using blue as the stock colour to coincide with the brief requirements of red, blue, or green. I have chosen this colour, as while have been researching navigation, I have mostly been focusing on marine navigation and this lends itself to visual language related to the sea and its colours and associations.
