Final Fairytale book

This is my final fairytale book. I have created a thick envelope to house the book and the papercut, to give it a more valuable feel and to give it a sense of quality. I have packaged the book as though it is ready to sell and have decided to use my shop branding to give it a professional finish and a context in which it would be sold (As I sell my handmade books and zines in my shop)

Final Zine

This is my final zine. It focuses on navigational devices and uses the colour blue as the majority f the devices are used for marine navigation, while this aspect also fits the briefs focus on a certain colour.I have packaged the zine as though it is ready to sell and have decided to use my shop branding to give it a professional finish and a context in which it would be sold (As I sell my handmade books and zines in my shop)

Final Tea Towel Design

Occassions - Final Range of 'Thank You' products.

Below are the product shots of my final designs - A bag, tag, card and wrapping paper sheet. This is the design for the basic range that has the potential to be developed to include "Thank You" phrases such as "Thank you for being there..." "Thank You for being a friend..." etc. These designs would have been created if i had more time, but with the amount of briefs i took on i ran out of time to fully explore this brief. I will develop this in my own time as it is something that i find really interesting to play around with and hopefully it will develop into something that i can present to Wendy once i have more of the range available.

Headline Deadline

This is my final design that i submitted for the headline brief. I chose this colour scheme as i thought this was the best choice that both represented the theme of the headline and the best colour scheme that would appeal to Urban Outfitters audience. I used an old school bubble style hand drawn typeface that i thought was appropriate for the word "fatties" and so i used it for the whole text, to create consistancy. I placed all the typography loosely in a circle to represent the earth, for the "global warming" aspect of the headline and decided on a black outline/background to make the hand drawn typography stand out and enhance that old school 80's colour palette.

Anorak Deadline

This was my final submission for the Anorak brief. I wanted to create an image with some detailed patterned parts as this has been a success on other covers, so i created some snowflake type designs alongside some doodle scribbles and a simple snowman design with the magazine mascot. I chose a simple and limited colour scheme that i felt was "wintery" and not too obvious as green and red for example and then created a bit of a random pattern with the snowflakes and scribbling. I chose to adapt the font Playbill as i thought it was quite child friendly, being robust and thick, yet playful enough for children. This was a fun brief to try as i have never really tried drawing type and manipulating it. This has also been a challenge, but i feel as though i have created something interesting, that fits the brief, even if it is not my usual style of working or my kind of aesthetic.
